I recently saw a news program on NBC the full figured men and women throwing parties to celebrate who they are and denounce skinny people everywhere. Ok, maybe denouncing is a little strong, bur the fact is, there is a message going around that big is beautiful.
Over 59 million people are consider obese – that is roughly 30% of all American adults! Yes, being big is beautiful.
These parties serve to make it “ok” to be large. Revel in who you are, and when you have these plus size parties on the rise, makes one consider why dieting is so darn popular.
You can love who you are no matter what size you are. Has anyone ever been to a “fat” party? I have yet to be in one, but the area I live in rolls up the sidewalks at 6PM.
